On April 15, 2024, the ASME Inspection Team visited Jiangsu Stord Works Ltd. and carried out a two-day renewal review. After a series of inspections, announced by the Head of the Unit at its final meeting, STORDWORKS successfully passed the ASME Pressure Vessel "U" certificate review. This is a full affirmation to STORDWORKS of ASME quality control system and manufacturing capacity.
ASME, short for American Society of Mechanical Engineers, was founded In 1880, mainly engaged in the development of mechanical engineering and related fields of science and technology. Since its inception, ASME has led the development of mechanical standards, becoming a worldwide engineering organization primarily in the fields of technology, education and investigation. ASME "U" certificate and seal are valid for three years. This is the recognition and proof of the ability and qualification of the enterprise pressure vessel manufacturing to go to the world and develop the international market.
According to the relevant renewal procedures, the ASME Joint Inspection Team inspected the workshop production site, product material, demonstration container, welding material management and other key areas one by one, and conducted a strict review of the quality assurance system of our ASME code products. The operation, marking and recording of design control, process control, material control, welding control, procurement control, inspection and non-destructive testing control and demonstration of demonstration products of pressure vessel products compiled according to ASME code were comprehensively checked. Our company all well meets the requirement of the control points.
At the last meeting, the Joint Inspection Team, through fully review, conclusion that STORDWORKS is in compliance with ASME quality control system, that the process control, site management, environmental control and other work and related nodes are all fully meeting ASME standards. Recommending to ASME headquarter to continue the ASME certificate of authorization and U-stamp for Jiangsu Stord Works Ltd.
